IT always gives me pleasure to announce the arrival of another new brewery in the locality as it simply furnishes me with evidence that demand for craft beer continues unabated.
The latest micro-brewery on the beery block, Northern Whisper, is nestled in the Rossendale Valley however they have now expanded to Colne – and again William Dyer Electrical UK Ltd feel honoured to be involved in their newest venture of the newly refurbished bar located in the centre of Colne’s hustle and bustle.
Northern Whisper have simply said: “Colne has been on our radar for a while now. It has a similar profile to Rawtenstall in that it has several independent micro pubs, which we hope to complement.
“Finding the old Natwest Bank was also a bonus as it brings a significant old building for the town back into use. There was a lot of work needing doing to redevelop the building but we will be utilising the old bank vaults and the character of the building to enhance the customer experience.
The systems installed include the following:
- All electrical installations (small power and lighting-emergency lighting)
- Mains Distribution
- Data Networking
- Fire Alarms
- Ventilation systems
- Lutron Lighting Controls
Long gone are days of a limited choice of beers. Brewers, like Northern Whisper, are fully aware that the sagacious slurpers of today, demand an eclectic selection of beer styles, flavours’ and strengths. And I wish this new venture every success in satisfying that demand and hopefully William Dyer Electrical UK Ltd will join them in sampling a few slurps when the new bar opens its doors in October 2019.
